SiteClock ("the App", "we", "us", "our") is a workforce attendance and site management app developed by
Digital Vyapar Mitra for construction companies and contractors.
This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, why we collect it, how it is used, and the
choices you have. By downloading, installing, or using SiteClock, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information We Collect
SiteClock is an attendance and workforce tool, so it needs a limited set of information to work correctly.
We only collect what is necessary to provide the App's core features.

Precise location (GPS)
To record the site location where an employee checks in
or out, and confirm attendance was marked on-site ("GPS Attendance").
Camera / photo (selfie)
To verify the identity of the person checking in
("Selfie Verification"), preventing buddy-punching or fraudulent attendance.
Name, employee ID, phone number
To create and identify a worker's account
within their employer's organization.
Attendance & site records
To generate daily reports and manage site activity
for the employer/site admin.
Device information
To keep the App stable, secure, and compatible with your
device (device model, OS version, app version).
Prominent disclosure: SiteClock requests Camera and Location
permissions. These are used strictly for attendance verification (selfie capture at check-in/check-out and
GPS-based site confirmation) and are not used for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to
workforce attendance. You will be asked for explicit permission via your device's system dialog before any
camera or location access occurs, and you may decline — though core attendance features will not function
without it.
2. How We Use Your Information
To mark, verify, and time-stamp employee attendance at a specific site.
To generate daily/weekly attendance reports for the employer or site administrator.
To help site administrators manage workforce presence across multiple sites.
To detect and prevent fraudulent check-ins (e.g., checking in from outside the site boundary).
To maintain and improve the App's reliability, and to fix bugs or technical issues.
We do not use your location or photo data for advertising,
marketing, or building an advertising profile.
3. Who We Share Data With
We do not sell your personal data. Data may be shared only in these limited situations:
Your employer / site administrator: attendance records, check-in photos, and location
data tied to your account are visible to the company that added you to SiteClock, since this is the core
purpose of the App.
Service providers: we use trusted third-party infrastructure (e.g., cloud hosting and
storage providers) strictly to operate the App. These providers are contractually required to protect your
data and cannot use it for their own purposes.
Legal requirements: if required to comply with a valid legal process, government request,
or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Digital Vyapar Mitra, our users, or the public.
4. Data Storage & Security
Attendance records, photos, and location logs are stored on secure cloud servers with encryption in transit
(HTTPS/TLS). Access to this data is restricted to authorized personnel and the relevant employer/site
administrator account. We apply industry-standard safeguards, but no method of transmission or storage is
100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Data Retention & Deletion
Attendance and check-in data is retained for as long as your account remains active with your employer's
organization, and for a reasonable period afterward for record-keeping and compliance purposes.
You (or your employer's administrator) may request deletion of your account and associated data at any
time by contacting us at the email below.
Some data may be retained longer where required by law (e.g., labor/payroll record requirements).
6. Your Rights & Choices
Access: you may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Correction: you may request correction of inaccurate account information.
Deletion: you may request deletion of your account and data, subject to your employer's
record-keeping obligations.
Permission control: you can revoke Camera or Location permissions anytime from your
device Settings, though this will limit or disable attendance features.
7. Children's Privacy
SiteClock is a workforce tool intended for use by employed adults (18+) and is not directed at children.
We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under the age of 18.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App or applicable law. The
"Last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the latest revision. Continued use of the
App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
